Starting this September a new range of day tours are coming to Melbourne thanks to a new unique offering from Explore Australia Tours. We are excited to bring you a smorgasbord of delicious touring options to suit the most discerning travellers palette. To make it easier for you to choose we thought we'd put together an overview of the different Melbourne Day Tours we have on offer!

Bellarine Sightseeing & Bay Cruise

Spend a day exploring the gorgeous coastline on a tour that has the perfect mix of sightseeing and relaxation. We'll explore Geelong foreshore and the famous bollards, experience Aboriginal culture and Australian wildlife at Narana, enjoy stunning clifftop views from the bluff at Barwon Heads and visit historic Point Lonsdale Lighthouse. We embark on a two hour bay cruise and treat ourselves to a delicious lunch before the afternoon is spent fruitpicking at Tuckerberry Hill Farm and enjoying a wine tasting at Jack Rabbit Vineyard. 

Mornington Peninsula Sightseeing & Bay Cruise

It won't take you long to realise why the Mornington Peninsula is the most visited region in Victoria when you spend the day exploring with us! Marvel at the Limestone rock formations of London Bridge before embarking on our 2 hour bay cruise where you'll enjoy a plentiful and tasty lunch while on board. In the afternoon we'll sample the delicious brews at St Andrews Brewery before enjoying a scenic ride on the Arthurs Seat Gondola with stunning panoramic views of the bay and peninsula. Our last stop is the Mt Martha Beach boxes to get that iconic selfie before returning to Melbourne. 

Around the Bay Sightseeing & Bay Cruise

Combine the Bellarine and Mornington Sightseeing tours into the one spectacular day tour with our around the Bay option. The morning is spent exploring Geelong foreshore, Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre, the bluff lookout and Point Lonsdale Lighthouse on the Bellarine. we enjoy a cruise on the bay with a delicious lunch before arriving on the Mornington Peninsula where we visit London Bridge Lookout, Saint Andrews Beach Brewery, Arthurs Seat Eagle and finally the famous beach boxes! 

French & Phillip Island Wildlife Expedition 

A day of wildlife and sightseeing that you won't find anywhere else! After an easy drive down to Stony point we'll take the Ferry across to French island where our custom 4 wheel drive "The Oka"  awaits. We'll explore this amazing island and learn about it's wildlife in this otherworldly and stunningly remote environment including enjoying a farmgate lunch. Once done exploring french island we'll take another short ferry ride to Phillip island, an island half the size of French island but with 100 thousand more people on it. We'll visit the town of Cowes and the nobbies boardwalk before arriving at the final destination of the day - The World famous Phillip Island Penguin Parade. Watch the penguins waddle home to their burrows at sunset in a most spectacular setting. 

Sovereign Hill Winter Wonderlights (29th June till 21st July)

Escape Melbourne and travel back in time to the 1800's at Sovereign Hill. We visit during the winter wonderlights festival which means during the day you can enjoy all the fun activities on offer such as panning for gold, mine tours, horse carriage rides and watching the gold pour or hard candy being made! When the sun goes down the buildings of sovereign hill light up in spectacular fashion and snow falling makes for an incredible atmosphere as you continue to explore one of Australia's number one attractions!

Bellarine Food & Wine Taste Trail

A spectacular day spoiling your taste buds sampling some of the most delicious produce the bellarine has to offer. After a visit to Geelong foreshore and it's famous bollards we'll sample delicious wines at Scotchmans hill and Terindah Estate Vineyards. Lunch is a selection of one of the fabulous dishes at the famous house of Jack Rabbit and the afternoon is spent sampling beers at Queenscliff Brewhouse and Ciders at Flying Brick Cidery! 

Mornington Peninsula Food & Wine Taste Trail

Visit a selection of Mornington Peninsula's most prestigious wineries and breweries on a fantastic day out. Enjoy tastings at Point Leo Estate and Rare Hare at Jackelope while taking in the spectacular scenery before heading to T'Gallant winery for more tasting and a delicious lunch. After lunch we'll head to St Andrew's Beach Brewery to sample their fine ales and lagers and cap off the day with a ride on the Arthurs Seat Eagle Gondola and a stroll on the beach at the famous beach boxes. 

Around the Bay Food & Wine Taste Trail

Combine our spectacular Bellarine and Mornington Peninsula Food and Wine taste trails into the one delicious day that enables you to get the best of both worlds. Sample delicious wines at Scotchmans Hill and Terindah estate before enjoying a delicious lunch at Jack Rabbit. We then enjoy a bay cruise accross to the Mornington Peninsula where we sample fine beers at St Andrews Beach Brewery. The day is completed with a ride on Arthurs Seat Eagle Gondola for stunning views of the bay and peninsula before a visit to the famous beach boxes. 

Peninsula Hot Springs & Beach Boxes

This is the ultimate relaxing escape from Melbourne. We'll whisk you away from the city and take down to the relaxing Mornington Peninsula where you'll arrive at the famous Peninsula Hot Springs. You'll have plenty of time to check out all the amazing bathing experiences, make sure you take time to enjoy the hot spring at the very top and try the reflexology walk to rejuvinate your feet! In the afternoon we take a ride on the Arthurs Seat Eagle Gondola for panoramic views of the bay and peninsula before taking a stroll along the beach next to the famous beach boxes.

Mt Buller Snow Tour (10th June till mid September)

The ultimate snow escape from Melbourne! An early pickup from the city means you're one of the first people on the mountain with plenty of time to build a snowman, throw some snowballs, ride down the mountain using your included toboggan hire or hire skis or a snowboard and hit the slopes!
